If Balasaheb Thackeray had been around today he would probably be unable to call Byron his laughter and his pride; laughter at what his son Uddhav Thackeray has managed to do as in cobble 3 hostile parties together and beaming with pride at finally seeing a Thackeray as Chief Minister of Maharashtra!

But even in his most far-out cartoon moments (he was a cartoonist) he would never have been able to work out this scenario..Congress-NCP support the Shiv Sena so that Uddhav Thackeray can become Chief Minister!
This is my most memorable interview with Balasaheb when he said that Uddhav and Raj would never break their relation; he also said that the spirit of Maharashtra lay with the Shiv Sena!
